A look at the U stadium "deal"
The University of Minnesota, a bipartisan group of legislators and the governor have a new plan to pay for a proposed Gophers football stadium that they are hailing as a "win-win."
Under the plan the University would give the state a 2,840 acre tract of land in Dakota County, and the state would increase its proposed share of the stadium funding to $9.4 million a year for 25 years.
