Beyond rhetoric in the same-sex marriage debate

In an effort to get beyond sound bites and political maneuvering, Minnesota Public Radio's Tom Crann talked to two vocal Minnesotans about the philosophy behind the debate.
Minnesota for Marriage communications director Chuck Darrell explained why this is such an important time for supporters of a constitutional ban on same-sex marriage, during an interview on Thursday.
On Friday Tom talked with with C. Scott Cooper, a lobbyist for OutFront Minnesota -- an advocacy organization for the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender gommunity.
