What did the justice tell Dean Johnson?
The chief justice of Minnesota's Supreme Court denied Monday that any member of his court had discussed the state's current same-sex marriage ban with Senate Majority Leader Dean Johnson, DFL-Willmar. Johnson has retracted earlier claims that three justices had assured him they would not strike down the ban, but maintained he had a casual conversation about the ban with one of the justices.
