The music of the Baltimore band Metal Hearts has been described as "quiet guitars and haunting harmonies layered over subtle, programmed drum beats, ala Mazzy Star on a booze bender."

St. Paul, Minn. — But host Mark Wheat was most impressed by the group's use of the saxophone. Metal Hearts stopped by our studio to play some new songs and talk about everyone from Arab Strap to Bob Dylan.

Song performed: "Gentleman's Spell," "The Mist," "It's Not Me; It's You" and "Same Old Chase."
