Minnesota Opera singers compete in Met Opera Nationals
by John Birge, Minnesota Public RadioSt. Paul, Minn. — Two of the Minnesota Opera's resident artists, Seth Keeton and John Michael Moore, will compete in the Metropolitan Opera National Finals on Sunday, March 26.
Keeton and Moore, along with another Minnesota Opera resident artist, Alison Bates, swept the regional round of the Met's National Council Auditions in February and competed in the National Semi-finals on March 19. From their hotel room in New York City, Keeton and Moore look ahead to Sunday's finals in a phone conversation with Minnesota Public Radio's John Birge.
