Born in Gothenburg, Sweden in 1978, Jose Gonzalaz was brought up in a home full of music. His father's taste ran the range of American and UK pop music to Latin American music.

Austin, TX — Jose carried on this family tradition by experimenting with many different musical styles for settling on that of the troubador.

His powerful ballads and soulful covers have garnered the attention of many in Europe and brought him comparisions to Nick Drake and Elliott Smith.
