Tim Fite claims to have been one of a small number of babies born without blood. And perhaps it's the lack of blood in his veins that makes his musical style, a hodge-podge of railcar hobo guitar chords and psychedelic rap, entirely unique.

Austin, TX — Fite's appeal is not in his talent with instruments, but of his uncanny ability to co-opt the work of others and turn it into something wholly and unusually his own. His latest album "Gone Ain't Gone" was mainly sampled and looped from a variety of found and forgotten CD's, overlaid with the resonant and disturbing lyrical musings of Fite's bloodless heart.
