Bush looks to save money on health care spending

St. Paul, Minn. — President Bush signs a bill Wednesday that will cut federal spending on the Medicaid program and reduce the number of low-income people eligible for Medicaid assistance. Meanwhile as part of his 2007 budget, Bush also proposed another $36 billion in cuts to Medicare, the government's other big health care program.
