Shutdown to hit many nonprofits

The partial state government shutdown will have an impact beyond state agencies. Many nonprofit organizations, that provide critical social services, rely on state funding. MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with Marcia Avner, the Public Policy Director of the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits. She says her organization does not have a comprehensive list yet of the the number of nonprofits that will be affected by the shutdown.
