Farmers compete in globalized world

Morning Edition host Cathy Wurzer talked with three farmers about how globalization is affecting agriculture. Kent Kanten is the fourth generation of his family to farm in the Milan area. Bev Struxness grows grass and raises beef cattle that are marketed as "natural meat." Mike Jacobs runs the Easy Bean Farm where he grows organic vegetables on just over 12 acres.
