Different K-12 bills emerging at the state Capitol

The dominating issue at the state Capitol is the state's budget, and the biggest item is spending on K-12 education. MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with key members of each chamber about education spending and teacher pay. Rep. Barbara Sykora, R-Excelsior, is the Chair of the House Education Finance Committee, and Sen. Steve Kelley, DFL-Hopkins, is the Chair of the Senate Education Committee.
