A survey of men arrested in Hennepin County shows nearly half of them have owned a gun at some point in their lives. Nearly half have also been the target of a shooting. The survey was done by the Council on Crime and Justice, a Minneapolis-based nonprofit. Tom Johnson is the president of the group, and he spoke with Morning Edition host Cathy Wurzer.
