Hennepin County bans guns on county property

The Hennepin County Board has passed a resolution prohibiting dangerous weapons on county property. Five commissioners voted for the resolution, and two abstained. The move comes in response to the recently-passed concealed-carry law, which is expected to increase the number of Minnesotans carrying handguns. Hennepin is one of several counties considering such bans. Morning Edition host Cathy Wurzer talked with David Hough, an assistant Hennepin County attorney.
