Tim O'Reagan is best known as the drummer for the Jayhawks, but he also writes songs, sings, and plays guitar. (06/30/2006)
Oakley Hall
Oakley Hall's style sticks to the core of country music's basic elements, however they've mixed less than conventional sounds into the mix, including a modified electric fiddle and a Fender electric strung up like a banjo. (09/28/2007)
Obits
Brooklyn's Obits debuted about a year and a half ago. While the band hasn't been around that long, the members are seasoned veterans of the punk scene. (07/27/2009)
Of Montreal
Of Montreal's debut album, "Cherry Peel," was released in 1997. Since then the band has recorded a total of eight studio albums with their latest being "Skeletal Lamping" in 2008. (10/25/2008)

The band's founding member Kevin Barnes made headlines earlier this year when he performed several songs nude during a Las Vegas performance. Their latest CD is called "Hissing Fauna, Are You The Destroyer" and the band has embarked on another US tour to help promote it. (10/05/2007)

Ol' Yeller
Ol' Yeller plays the kind of music that sounds right at home in the dark confines of the 7th Street Entry or playing from a jukebox in Mattson's native Iron Range in northern Minnesota. (12/19/2006)
Old 97s
The Dallas, Texas band Old 97's was formed by singer/guitarist Rhett Miller and bassist Murry Hammond in 1993. They released their debut "Hitchhike To Rhome" in 1994 on the indie label Big Iron and in 1995 released "Wreck Your Life" on Bloodshot Records. (06/04/2008)

Peter Ostroushko
"Lordy Lucas!" That was almost the name of the Peter Ostroushko's Heartland Band, but an executive nixed it. No matter what you call it, Ostroushko's band and concerts over the past several years in the Midwest have gathered fans for the local musician. (04/17/2008)
Peter Ostroushko
Mandolin and fiddle virtuoso Peter Ostroushko appears to be one of the most relaxed people on the planet. His thoughtful pauses are long enough to allow you to go for coffee and get back before he begins his answer. And that would be OK with him. (12/19/2006)
Over the Rhine
Johnny and June did it, so Karin Bergquist and Linford Detweiler are hoping they can be among those married couples who successfully write and produce music together. So far, it's working very well. (11/27/2007)
Mike Kinsella aka Owen
Sometimes after playing in seven bands in a decade, a guy just wants to spend some time alone. At least, Mike Kinsella did. He's was in Cap'n Jazz, Joan of Arc, and American Football, but he spends his time performing as Owen now. (04/05/2007)
