Site identifies songs you hum; Wikipedia in trouble?

I've returned from a few days off. Thanks to Art Hughes for filling in on Future Tense, where he turned in a couple of interesting stories. Last Thursday, Art reported on a new site, Midomi.com, that allows users to sing, hum or whistle snippets of songs (RealAudio - MP3 - iTunes). The site records the excerpt and matches it with snippets other users have posted. The process can either give you the title of the melody in your head, or you can simply match your skills against other amateur singers.
On Friday, Art interviewed a law professor who believes Wikipedia is sowing its own demise (RealAudio - MP3 - iTunes).
