Donate your old thumb drives
Posted at 12:40 PM on December 13, 2006 by Jon Gordon
Lots of us have old USB data storage devices laying around (known as thumb drives, flash drives, etc.). Instead of throwing them away, consider donating them to San Francisco non-profit company Inveneo, which will send them to students, aid workers and small business entrepreneurs in Uganda and other African countries. Tomorrow on Future Tense, I'll talk with Inveneo about this project.
