Thursday thunder brings heavy rainfall:

A potent front brought multiple waves of rain & thunder Thursday.

Check out some of the impressive (and flood prone) rainfall reports, including a whopping 10"+ in Stanton just east of Northfield!

Friday Forecast: Perfect summer day?

Friday looks great as wave #1 pulls east. Look for plenty of sun and a high in the upper 80s to near 90 in the metro and southern Minnesota.

Storms again Saturday:

The next wave is due Saturday, and should bring another shot at T-Storms to Minnesota.

Dad's Day is looking nicer, with some sun and 80s for highs.

Enjoy!

I know it's a strange request, but I'm always curious about the dew point forecast. It's helpful to know if it's just going to just be warm and I can leave the windows open or if it's going to be warm and I should turn on the air conditioner. I've learned (from you) and noticed that the predictions on how a day will "feel", as associated with the dew point, are right on at our house. As summer begins, it's helpful to know that information. Thanks!
