Gusty Friday! Wind advisories; Slight severe risk western MN

Our "October Summer" is going out on a windy note.

Wind Advisories: For most of Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin
(SW winds 25-35 mph, Gusts to 50 mph)

Red Flag Warnings: For high fire danger for most of Minnesota
(Temps in the 70s to near 80, Humidity at or under 30%, gusts to 50 mph)

High Wind Warnings: Eastern Dakotas into the Red River Valley
(Sustained winds 30 to 50 mph, Gusts to 55 mph)

Slight severe risk for western Minnesota:
(A 15% chance of isolated storms with severe 1" diameter hail and or winds to 60 mph.)

Cooler and somewhat wetter weather will move in for the weekend. There will be a chance of spotty showers Friday & Saturday. Highs should fall into the 70s and 60s.
