The Winds of Autumn are here today. Gusty northwest winds will whip up whitecaps on your favorite lake today, and may have you checking down the street for your empty recycling bin!

* TIMING...NORTHWEST WINDS WILL INCREASE TO 15 TO 25 MPH WITH
GUSTS TO 35 MPH BY 10 AM...THEN INCREASE TO 20 TO 30 MPH WITH
GUSTS ABOVE 40 MPH BY 12 PM THURSDAY. A FEW GUSTS ABOVE 45 MPH
WILL BE POSSIBLE. WINDS WILL DIMINISH DURING THE EARLY EVENING
* WINDS...20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 40 MPH...AND A FEW ABOVE 45
* IMPACTS...LOOSE OBJECTS COULD BE BLOWN AROUND...AND SMALL OR
WEAK BRANCHES COULD COME DOWN IN THE WIND. LIGHT AND HIGH
PROFILE VEHICLES COULD BE IMPACTED.

This weekend will sart cool and end on a mild note Sunday afternoon.
Look for a chilly start Saturday, with upper 30s and low 40s in many areas. By Sunday temps will be well into the 70s and may push 80 in southwest Minnesota!
