We've sliced & diced our record October storm a hundred ways. Now we need a name.
Here are some ideas:
-October Superbomb
-The Land Hurricane of 2010
-Flurricane
-Big Fork Betty
-Hurricane Minny
Now it's your turn. Fire when ready!

WIND-mageddon!!!
I've heard it referred to as the "Chi-clone", but I like "The Great Chicago Chic-urricane."
Or some such thing. =)

Blizzard+Hurricane = ...
BLURRICANE 2010
Empire Destroyer Cyterracane
This is because it followed the famous railroad route called the Empire Builder, but in reverse. Cy = rotation, terra = land, cane = powerful storm.
Hurriclone
Terra Storma
(Here on Terra Firma)
Flyover Storm
(Yes, we do reside in the Flyover States.)
Tundracane
MidWester 10 10.
Overblown Windbag
Octobrrrrrrrrr!
I came up with lists of names like those for hurricanes and typhoons. I'm that much of a weather nerd. Since it's the first, I've been calling it Land Hurricane Annika. I've thought of calling Bomb Annika but that sounds like a terrorist threat especially since I know an Annika. Next is Bjørn.
Otherwise, I like Octo-bomb and Lena-cane
