I live in England for 40 years and never heard a weather forecaster used either 'hoolie' or 'Robin Hood wind'.

In 40 years of living in England i never heard any weather forecaster (or weather man) use the terms 'hoolie' or "Robin Hood' wind.

I too lived for a time in England and recall Michael Fish using the term Robin Hood's wind in one of his BBC broadcasts. In addition, Carol Kirkwood of the current BBC broadcast team has used the term "hoolie" in hers. You can read more about it at...

I have to take issue with one of your quiz questions. You refer to 100 degrees being reached in Milan and Granite Falls, both in Chippewa County. Granite Falls is actually the county seat of Yellow Medicine county and not in Chippewa County.
