Showers have arrived in southwest Minnesota this morning and are likely to expand northeast during the day. The southern half of hte state has the best chance for accumulating a half inch to as much as one inch of moisture between 10am today and noon on Thursday.
There may be enough giddy-up in the collison of air masses to ignite a bolt of lightning and a rumble of thunder.
