If your one of the family members who experience Seasonal Affective Disorder, this time of year can really bring you down. But you can't blame lack of sunshine if you are suffering the winter blues.
In the Twin Cities last month, according to the data from the National Weather Service in Chanhassen, we experienced fifty-six percent of the possible sunshine. Only five days had less than twenty-five percent of possible sunshine in January.
I was curious about how they faired in Jacksonville, Florida in January and found that they tallied only forty-eight percent of the possible sunshine. Head south to Tampa and they enjoyed ninety-three percent sunshine last month.
More cool sunshine today, but we add some warmth after we get through a chilly Wednesday morning..
Watching for the next good chance for measurable precipitation. We may have something on the back burner for next week!
