When writing about the President's first 100 days in office, remember to include the fact that he expects to work through the elements. President Obama commented on the school closings in Washington D.C. yesterday for a little ice accumulation at daybreak.

Asked if he meant the people of the national's capital are wimps, Obama said: "I'm saying, when it comes to the weather, folks in Washington don't seem to be able to handle things

If you are from the Windy City you develop in little endurance of winter weather. That is untll you turn about 60.

It takes as long as 60? I'm not quite that old yet.

I've discovered recently that I'm more of a fan of the concept or idea of extremely cold weather than actually being in it.
