If the blast of arctic air last week got you thinking about heading south to the Sunshine state, I hope you stayed in touch with the weather folks as well as your travel agent.
Today, the low temperature dropped into the middle 20s to lower 30s in the northern half of Florida. Wind Chill Advisories are in effect for Orlando, with the wind chill index at 24 degrees at daybreak. Chilly weather is expected in the far south the next couple of days.
Raleigh, NC picked-up a record 3.5 inches of snow on Tuesday. How fun for them!
Running out of time for a January thaw. Another shot of cold air arrives on Thursday night.
