Prepare and remain aware

Today begins Wiinter Hazard Awareness Week. Remain prepared for any surprises Mother Nature may have in store this winter. With your link to the MPR weather team and our friends at NOAA, you will be in the know when winter weather is about to take a turn for the worse.

One thing that I continue to notice is the number of folks who still warm their car up in the garage. If you need to have that comfort of a warm auto, start the car, back it out of the garage and then close the door. Carbon monoxide streams into the house through every crook it can find if engine is idling in the garage with the garage door open.
