As advertised, a slow moving frontal boundary triggered generous rainfall for portions of western and central Minnesota. And, as often the case this year, the heaviest rain, for the time being, skirted the Twin Cities.
NWS Chanhassen Rainfall reports, plus radar estimated rainfall from yesterday and last night.
Looking ahead to the remainder of the week, you will enjoy Wednesday's sunshine. Clouds thicken some on Thursday. A wet pattern may set in for Friday and Saturday, particularly from Montevideo to St. Cloud to Duluth.
This outlook is subject to change, so don't cancel your Saturday plans to head north. But you may wish to begin thinking about plan B.
