Tonight on Radio Heartland, we'll have a special concert presentation.
Our "Power of Two" concert was recorded at the Fitzgerald Theater last March 28th. Karen Savoca & Pete Heitzman, Storyhill and Lou & Peter Berryman gave us a good look at some of the different ways two musicians can mesmerize an audience.
Tonight's broadcast focuses on the music. I'm sorry to say my slide presentation on the musical duo through history doesn't translate well to the audio medium.
You really had to be there. But here's a look at the Adam and Eve sequence.
You can clearly see the logical progression of musicality in human pairs.
But all sorts of variations are possible. That's what makes it interesting!
Listen for three remarkable duos tonight at 7 on Radio Heartland.
The concert will be repeated Wednesday, May 6th, at 1pm on Radio Heartland.
oh, i'm so bummed! i thought the re-broadcast would be on radio, not RH. should have looked more closely. our satellite internet is almost at max already (without paying more) so i can't risk it. bummer, bummer. might listen just for a bit....
i'm still glad it's being re-broadcast - even if i can't hear it all.
thanks, Dale and Mike
I've been planning to listen to the concert broadcast all day ... made sure to be home from our event by 7pm ... and then totally spaced it out when I got home. Finally remembered around 8pm and heard last half. What I did hear was great. I see it will be broadcast again on Wednesday afternoon, so will try again!
Thanks Dale and Mike for making this available again for us forgetful folks!
Great to relive 'duos' again. Thanks!
Woops! I guess I've relived it just once so scratch that 'again' word. What a language!
