Skilling gets 24 years...see why

Posted at 4:40 PM on October 23, 2006 by Stephanie Curtis (1 Comments)

Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room is a documentary about the fall of the Houston trading giant. It's more than just talking heads (although the talking heads are pretty good themselves.) There's great footage of Skilling and the late Ken Lay (not as much of Andy Fastow who didn't hog the limelight as much as his attention-seeking colleagues.) A lot of CEOs lay low and avoid publicity. Skilling, however, loved to have a camera documenting his wit, charisma and genius. All of which have lead him to an ankle bracelet, house arrest and (if the Bureau of Prisons follow the judge's advice) a loooooong stay at the federal hoosegow in Butner, NC.

For just as funny a take on Enron, try Memron-a loony, rather unscripted movie which certainly describes the blithe idiocy of Enron's idea of running a business.
