How to ensure people talking around you at a theater can't bother you.

This is not my idea. It belongs to an inventive woman named Sari Gordon. All you have to do to enjoy a movie at a big theater and not be disturbed by whispers, cell phones or giggling at in appropriate moments is check out one of those special headphone sets for the hearing impaired. A lot of theaters offer them and most don't check to see if you really are hearing impaired. They send the soundtrack to your headset and bingo...you get a big screen and no disturbances from the rest of the audience.

I have not tried it yet. I am going to do it this week.

everyone knows, of course, that these headsets were meant for non-hearing impaired movie critics.
