One of the most popular forms of public art is the mural. The Twin Cities abound with them, but Greater Minnesota also has its share.

MPR's Nikki Tundel recently photographed some of the murals in the metro area that reflect our rich diversity. You can find the full slideshow here.

Do you have a favorite mural in Minnesota? What makes it special? How does it reflect the community? Submit your favorite with a photo, and we'll profile it here on State of the Arts. Send your submission to mcombs@mpr.org.

Broken Crow's pink lamb mural in Northeast Minneapolis. I simply love it. Also, if two nominations are allowed, the Nomad's mural is pretty amazing too!
