Bachmann plans early November campaign stop in South Carolina

The South Carolina Republican Party says Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann will be its special guest at a lunch on Tuesday November, 8 in Columbia, SC. The invitation lists the admission price as $25 per person and says tickets must be purchased in advance, "due to the anticipated excitement and expected high turnout."
It is unclear what, if any other, campaign events Bachmann has planned for her upcoming South Carolina trip. Political observes say when it comes to early nomination battle states beyond Iowa, Bachmann likely has a better chance at attracting support in South Carolina than in New Hampshire because of her appeal with tea party enthusiasts and social conservatives.
