Two of the members of Minnesota's U.S. House delegation will spend part of their week off discussing the federal health care law.
On Monday, GOP Rep. Erik Paulsen will discuss the federal health care law, his push to give a federal tax break to medical technology companies and other impacts on the medtech industry. Paulsen will make his comments to LifeScience Alley, a group advocating on behalf of the state state's medical technology and biobusinesses.
Meanwhile, DFL Rep. Keith Ellison will hold a public forum on Wednesday night at the Sabathani Community Center Auditorium in Minneapolis. He'll be joined by DFL state Sen. John Marty, several health care professionals and the organizing director of SEIU Healthcare Minnesota. The forum will discuss the federal health care law's effect on small businesses the medical community and families.
Ellison's guest from SEIU going to be teaching us all how to get our own waivers?

Oddly the special interests with the closest ties to Obama and Democrats seem to be demanding exclusion from the health care takeover.
Let's hope someone finds out why this "reform" is so good for us, but not them.
