Honorable my eye...
On January 21, 1997, the House voted 395 to 28 to reprimand Gingrich for ethics violations dating back to September 1994. The House ordered Gingrich to pay a $300,000 penalty, the first time in the House's 208-year history it had disciplined a Speaker for ethical wrongdoing.
Honorable my ear...
Take your pick of Newt's scandals: draft dodging, adultery, pushing a divorce on his wife while she lay in the hospital recovering from cancer, check bouncing. It's all here:

That would make an interesting roundtable discussion, indeed, but somehow, I don't think any of that will come up at this little soiree.
Please, Tom, keep in mind that "invite" is a verb! When you said "Here's the invite," I cringed. You should say "Here's the invitation." I expect you, as a journalist, to use correct English.
Which wife will Gingrich bring with him? #1, who he cheated on? #2, who he cheated on? #3, who he is probably cheating on? And he's here to raise money for the "family values" party? Give me a break.
so informative, thanks to tell us.
