DFL state Sen. Ron Latz of St. Louis Park announced today that's he's backing MN House Speaker Margaret Anderson Kelliher's bid for governor.

"I have known Margaret for a long time," Sen. Latz said in a news release. "She is smart, savvy and talented. She blends executive management experience with a deep knowledge of the issues and the legislative process, and has a proven track record of success on all three fronts. Margaret knows how to get the right things done for Minnesota, and I am proud to endorse her candidacy for Governor."

MNProgressive Project says that's the 46th superdelegate to back Kelliher.
