Democrat Mark Dayton secured his second union endorsement today when the Teamsters Joint Council 32 announced it was backing him for governor. AFSCME Council 5 announced last year it was backing Dayton as well.

In a news release, Teamsters Joint Council 32 President Sue Mauren said "Dayton is the right choice for the Teamsters Union and for all Minnesotans." The release said the union has 62,000 active and retired members.
