Mark Dayton's campaign for governor says the former U.S. Senator will visit Minnesota 87 counties in 87 days starting in January. Here's the release:

On January 20, 2010 we will officially launch our "Mark Dayton for a Better Minnesota" campaign, with a public announcement at the State Capitol.

That day will also begin our "87 Counties in 87 Days" tour throughout Minnesota. During the 87 days after January 20th, Mark will drive to every one of our state's 87 counties. He will focus on critical challenges confronting Minnesota: jobs, economic growth, education, health care, and seniors' services.

Mark will also be holding "Meet and Greet" get-togethers throughout our state. Starting next year, we will provide advance notices of these events on our website: www.markdayton.org. We invite you to stop by a location convenient for you.
