DFL gov candidates heading northwest

All of the DFL candidates for governor will be heading to Moorhead next Sunday for a DFL sponsored debate. Here are the details:

(Moorhead, Minn)--The Seventh Congressional District Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party will host a DFL gubernatorial debate from 2-4 p.m., Sunday, November 8 at Glasrud Auditorium, in Weld Hall, on the campus of Minnesota State University Moorhead.

Confirmed candidates include Speaker of the House Margaret Anderson Kelliher, former U.S. Senator Mark Dayton, Sen. Tom Bakk, Ramsey County Attorney Susan Gaertner, former state Sen. Steve Kelley, Rep. Tom Rukavina, Sen. John Marty, Matt Entenza, Rep. Paul Thissen and Mayor R.T. Rybak.

"This is a great opportunity to meet these gubernatorial candidates. We had a large turnout of young people in this area for the last election. By having this event at a convenient campus location we are encouraging interested folks of all ages to participate in this important forum." - Paul Wright, chairperson, Seventh Congressional District Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party (CD 7 DFL).
