Third District Rep. Erik Paulsen's campaign said today he raised a whopping $354,581 in the second quarter of 2009. He now has $488,302 cash on hand for his likely re-election run next year.

The freshman Republican raised nearly $222,000 in the first quarter of the year.

Great to know the dollars but isn’t the relevent question “Who” and “Where” ?
In other words, since Paulsen is listed as a “protected species” in the Republicans Patriot Program (along with Rep. Dan Lungren (Calif.), Ken Calvert (Calif.) Brian Bilbray (Calif.), Judy Biggert (Ill.), Joseph Cao (La.), Thaddeus McCotter (Mich.), Leonard Lance (N.J.), Chris Lee (N.Y.) and Dave Reichert (Wash.)) wouldn’t it be interesting to know how many of the dollars came from Minnesota ? Also how many contributed to all ten Patriots (possibly excluding Reichert since he voted in favor the climate change legislation and is now persona non gratis by the Club For Growth and many Republicans.)
