Posted at 5:24 PM on May 28, 2009 by Tom Scheck

Gov. Pawlenty will reportedly head to Arkansas next month to raise money for the Arkansas Republican Party. The AK GOP's website says other GOP heavyweights have appeared in the past:

The annual dinner is one of the RPA's major fundraisers. Past keynote speakers include Governor Mitt Romney, Governor Jeb Bush, Governor Mike Huckabee, Governor Haley Barbour, and Governor Mark Sanford.

In addition to Governor Pawlenty's speech, former Arkansas First Lady
Gay White will present the annual award in honor of her husband Governor
Frank White, the "Hi, I'm Frank White" award.
