House fails to override veto of GAMC

The Minnesota House failed to override Governor Pawlenty's veto of funding for General Assistance Medical Care in FY 2011. The vote fell along party lines, 87-47. DFLers needed 90 votes to override the veto.

The House is now trying to override Pawlenty's veto of a Tax bill that increases taxes $1 billion.

This is just plain wrong. What are we supposed to do with all of those mentally ill people who cannot legitamatly hold a job down because they have serious psychotic issues such as Mulitple Personality Disorder.

I sure hope Pawlenty is ready to hire more law enforcement officers when SOME of these people cannot get the help they need with thier medications and end up having to go off them because they have no way of getting them. Some of these people are so bad off and unable to work because of mental issues. Good lord.
