Minnesota Management and Budget says the state collected $46 million less than expected. This won't have any effect on the state budget since the governor and lawmakers are working off of a March forecast but it's a continuation of gloomy news. The good news is that some forecasters expect the federal stimulus to stop the economy's "steep slide." Read on here:
