Gov. Pawlenty delivers his 7th State of the State address today. The Pi Press says no details are expected on the budget. The Star Tribune says there will be cuts in every corner. This is a reminder that MPR will provide live coverage of the speech at noon today.

nationally, I'm very dissapointed the party's AG nominee doesn't understand the constitution better than he has demonstrated, and had it explained to him by SCOTUS.
It's troubling such an underqualified candidate could get so far, possibly even ensconsed.
Erik Paulsen voted for the SCHIP bill? This is a major break from his former voting record in the MN. House when dealing with this type of legislation...what's up?

Erik Paulsen votes to expand SCHIP. No surprises here.
Erik wants the appearance of a centrist to secure his purple district seat in 2010. What more defensible way to accomplish this than health care for kids? Smooth move, Erik.
