Gov. Pawlenty met with President-elect Obama this morning in Philadelphia. He was part of a bipartisan group of governors that met with Obama. Pawlenty had a conference call with Minnesota's press corps just a few minutes ago. Even with a deficit looming, Gov. Pawlenty said on the call that a federal bailout for states may not be worth it if "too many strings are attached." He said government help could become a missed opportunity for needed spending reform.
