As a warm up to tonight's U.S. Senate debate, I'm posting this weekend's stump speeches from GOP Sen. Norm Coleman and DFLer Al Franken (Note - I-P candidate Dean Barkley did campaign over the weekend but we didn't hear him make any stump speeches).
GOP Sen. Norm Coleman campaigned in the Twin Cities suburbs on Saturday. GOP Rep. John Kline joined him at several events including a campaign stop in Rosemount. Here's what they said:
Meanwhile, DFLer Al Franken was busy campaigning on Sunday with David Wellstone, the son of the late Sen. Paul Wellstone. The two spoke before the Operating Engineers, Local 49 in Minneapolis.
