DSCC goes large - Coleman to go long

Posted at 7:18 AM on November 1, 2008 by Tom Scheck (2 Comments)

I'm told that the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee just placed another large advertising buy at the TV stations (in addition to the other buys I reported on). The source said the DSCC is spending another $350 thousand in the market to help Al Franken get elected

Meanwhile...

I'm told that GOP Sen. Norm Coleman has reserved time at all of the stations to run an unusual two minute ad on Monday night. The ad is scheduled to run at 6:58, right before Prime Time.

That'd be a weird time for him to try to prove the money funneling allegations are false.

Coleman's campaign manager confirmed the ad. He said it will be a positive ad.
