Bachmann hits the national circuit as the 6th gets interesting

GOP Rep. Michele Bachmann's campaign says Bachmann will appear on Fox New's Your World with Neil Cavuto at 3:05 today. She is also scheduled to appear on CNN's Larry King tonight at 8:10.

Bachmann's appearances come as DFL challenger Elwyn Tinklenberg appears to be closing the gap in polling. The Club For Growth reported today that it's about the send out campaign lit on Bachmann's behalf. DFL Party officials also say that the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is about to get into the race as well...

Did everyone see Congresswoman Michele Bachman on Hardball today? Literally, the most frightening thing I've EVER seen in my entire lifetime! Are we witnessing a new era of McCarthyism? She actually referred to liberals as "anti-American" and called for an investigation of Congress to search for and root out anti-American elected officials.

Add this to Sarah Palin's incendiary comments that Obama "pals around with terrorists" and the McCain Campaign's new robo calls claiming that Obama "worked closely" with a terrorist whose radical group "killed Americans" and you have a recipe for the next great American witch hunt and a call to violence against Obama and his fellow Democrats.

This is very dangerous rhetoric coming out of the Republican Party!!! Every American should study McCarthyism and read the Crucilble TODAY!

KICK THIS WOMAN OUT OF OFFICE!!!

Ms. Bachman attended the Values Voters summit which sold Obama Waffles with racist depiction of Barack and Michelle Obama.
Minnesota you were my home for 50 years, the thought of this putrid racism, religious reich insanity being fostered in the state is repellant.
I agree she was scarey as a McCarthyite on Hardball.

I am from S.C. and saw her on MSNBC. What some kooky NAZI stuff. I send an e-mail to the speaker to complain, I sent a donation to the guy running against her and I sent an email to the Republicans in my state teliing them I am voting early on monday..Straight Democrat..is that anti-American?

Her comments are incredible and an embarrassment to all of Minnesota... I wish I still lived in the 6th district so I could vote against her... Calling those who dis-agree with her 'anti-american' is itself anti-american.

Please consider donating to Tinklenberg, her opponent, even if you're not in the area. It's a tight race, he could use our help!

Hey, you can't have an "us" if you don't have a "them". No better way to have a "them" than to make them a threat everything that matters. It is time to take a stand against this type of politics of the narrow minded or we are going to see a lot more of it in the coming years.

This Congresswoman is a certified nut and is clearly crazy. What a shame she is a member of Congress! Hate mongering & race baiting is her specialization and she has a Phd in demonization. It is so scary to hear such certified nuts & loons talk such nonsense. She is certainly unfit for any public office, boot her out before she poisons the well even more.

I have no problem with people on either side disagreeing with each other and their ideology. But instead of talking about the issues, attacking someones patriotism as a way of proving their side wrong, is just stunning. I lived most of my life in Minnesota and I am horrified to see that this person is a congresswoman. She doesn't even belong in public let alone in congress representing the citizens of the state of minnesota.

I'm positively stunned, STUNNED that the people of our state ever put this hateful, intolerant Stepford wife into office. She is the poster girl for Fox News, is absolutely the opposite of what she professes. Christian? Umm, no you aren't Bachmann, you are an opportunistic, intolerant hack. You have zero ethics and even less common sense.

I hope the media doesn't drop the ball on this and exposes her to her district for what she is - an absolute harpy.

Republicans in Minnesota used to be normal and did not feel the need to march lock step with the Southern Bible Bangers. We used to be our own kind of Republican and now we are just like the steriotypical dotto heads on talk radio. I am not interested is some kind of witch hunted started by the RP of M so I am writing in Immelman. Also, is it just me or does Bachmann look like she is high on something when she is on TV?

To think that this is a "congresswoman" who is representing her state. I guess that's why Barack Obama is leading in the polls there. Too bad no one has brought up John McCains "pals" including CHARLES KEATING....G. GORDON LIDDY....RET. GENERAL JOHN SINGLAUB....ATTY WILLIAM TIMMONS. Who knows how many other "pals" he has made in his 25 years in politics. Not to mention good old six-pack lovin, hockey mom Sarah Palin herself who is married to Mr. FIRST DUDE who was a member of the AIP (Alaska Independence Party) wanting to be a separate nation with hatred for the United States. Lets not forget the Abuse of Power issue she was just found guilty of. Maybe they should quit while they are ahead since no one has personally "attacked" them yet...It would be interesting to see what "congresswoman" Bachmann has to say about it. Talk about a bunch of IDIOTS!
