Minnesota loses more jobs

Posted at 11:19 AM on September 18, 2008 by Tom Scheck (1 Comments)

The Department of Employment and Economic Development reports that Minnesota lost 3100 jobs in August.

Question of the Day: Does this have a greater impact on the presidential race in Minnesota?

Greater than what?

The economic problems are unlikely to help McCain, other than to shift the electorate's attention from one issue to another (Irag is _so_ 2006).

But they probably won't help Obama, either.

The first candidate out of the blocks with a clearly articulated plan, that voters can identify with, likely wins the swing voter bonus points.

But does that type of plan even exist?
