Bachmann can make time for Larry King once a week, but she can't find time to hold a single public meeting in her district since being elected, and is now dodging debate invitations. This is the great untold story in the 6th CD: Where's Michele?

From the Country Messenger newspaper in Scandia:

A group calling itself “Scandia Citizens for a Good Life (and an informed electorate)” will play host to a town-hall style debate between the two area candidates for the 6th Congressional District seat.

Democrat Elwyn Tinklenberg has agreed to attend the event, as has independent candidate Bob Anderson.

As of Monday, Republican Michele Bachmann had yet to confirm her attendance. Her scheduling staffer did not respond to a request for information last week.
