All eyes are on Gov. Pawlenty as the Veepstakes continue. Gov. Pawlenty will spend the day at the State Fair. He's headed to PA and Ohio through Monday.

Time Magazine's The Page quotes two sources as saying McCain has settled on Mitt Romney but no offer has been made.

The New York Times and AP say McCain has narrowed his list and Gov. Pawlenty and Mitt Romney are the top candidates.

The Wall Street Journal says Republicans worry that a McCain pick will rile the GOP base.

Former AK Gov. Mike Huckabee rips Mitt Romney and praises Gov. Pawlenty for VP.

Barack Obama says he's chosen his running mate but isn't saying who it is.
